ENER-G strikes Japanese partnership

SALFORD green power specialist ENER-G is launching its products into Japan after signing a partnership agreement with Japanese firm Cornes Biogas.

The parties have secured a maiden contract at Shikaoi municipal biogas plant in Hokkaido. ENER-G’s Salford-made Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems will be exported to Japan,  to be installed, commissioned and maintained by Cornes.

ENER-G designs, manufactures, finances, operates and maintains CHP units across the globe, working with a network of partners with technical expertise and local market knowledge. It has more than 680 staff and annual sales of more than £100m.

The Cornes group of companies was established more than 150 years ago in Yokohama, Japan, and today  encompasses a wide range of products and services, including luxury automobiles, marine charts and related publications, kitchenware, electronics, high-tech products and equipment, and dairy and agricultural machinery.
