Ticketmaster books into Sevendale House

TICKETMASTER has agreed a letting at the newly-refurbished Sevendale House in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The business, owned by Live Nation, has been expected to take around 20,000 sq ft at the building but the deal has not yet been publicly confirmed.

However, it has submitted a planning application for its fit-out because it is a grade II-listed building.

This shows it is taking all the 14,500 sq ft second floor and half of the third, totalling some 23,000 sq ft. It is moving a call centre from N Brown’s Griffin House further up Lever Street.

Landlord Philip J Davies Holdings has just completed a £6m refurb, designed by Roger Stephenson, that has created 65,000 sq ft of grade A space over four floors and re-established a central light well.

Mark Davies, director of Philip J Davies, said: “Following its extensive refurbishment, Sevendale House has become a stand-out scheme in the Northern Quarter, providing Grade A space in a beautiful, grade II-listed building and we’re delighted to secure such a significant tenant as our first letting.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Ticketmaster to the building. Following the launch of the building in September there has been considerable interest from businesses looking to relocate to Sevendale House and we are confident there will be a number of further tenants confirmed before Christmas.”

The agent at Sevendale is OBI Property. Ticketmaster could not be reached for comment.
