Blues target high rollers with Platinum Experience

MANCHESTER City FC has launched a new super-premium hospitality experience, aimed at the corporate brands looking for something special for clients or colleagues.

Called the Platinum Experience, the club has created what they believes is a unique bundle of benefits for their fans and customers, from pitch-side access before the match and a visit from a first team player after the game to an insight into their corporate strategy from Ferran Soriano, the chief executive of the club and City Football Group.

And this season, guests will be joined by the Barclays Premier League trophy – complete with its own security guard, who accompanies the silverware wherever it goes.

The Platinum Experience is situated in a double-box in the Colin Bell Stand, which can accommodate up to 20 guests.  The space has been fitted out to a high standard, and can be dressed according to our guests’ needs, be that a fine-dining sit-down meal or a more informal buffet-style arrangement.

Its neutral decor means the box can also be branded by corporate customers, should they require it. The product is sold on a match-by-match basis and is a bespoke match day experience with prices starting from £12,500, rising to £25,000 for the highest profile fixtures.

The new suite is part of an on-going programme of improvements at the Etihad Stadium; the most significant being the current expansion of the South Stand.

Justice Ellis, head of marketing at the club, said: “At Manchester City, we have always prided ourselves on offering our fans and corporate customers a truly memorable match-day. With the launch of the Platinum Experience, we are now able to offer guests an exclusive insight into the inner working of the club, from the boardroom to the first ream dressing room.

“Whether it’s discussing the future of the global game with our CEO, or talking tactics with Sergio Aguero; guests can expect a truly immersive Manchester City experience, as told by the people shaping the club’s future.”
