Profits leap at Vivark

LIVERPOOL facilities management firm Vivark has recorded strong annual growth.

According to its annual accounts there was a fivefold increase in post-tax profits to £1m on revenues of £25.9m, up by 150%, in the year to March.

During the period Vivark carried out maintenance work on Knowsley Housing Trust’s 14,000 properties, secured a two-year contract to manage Knowsley Council’s care and repair service, and also handled the council’s winter boiler contract.

It has also ventured into new areas, offering green technologies services such as solar panel installation. Staff numbers grew by 85 to 200.

Vivark director Tony Cahill said: “We’re proud to have grown as a business at such a considerable rate during just 12 months. These excellent results reflect our team’s dedication to offering first class facilities management services.

“Next year will see us improving on the successes of the last financial period, continuing to enhance our culture of honest, customer-focused service delivery. Building on these results will allow us to continue to do what we do best: realise our vision of creating success for our people, customers and the communities in which we operate.”
