EY launches Entrepreneur of the Year 2015

ACCOUNTANCY group EY has launched its Entrepreneur Of The Year programme for 2015.

The firm is calling for nominations from business leaders in the North West who have demonstrated entrepreneurial flair whilst growing or turning around the fortunes of their organisation.

The programme starts at a regional level with winners progressing to the UK finals. The overall UK winner goes on to compete for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year in Monte Carlo next year.

The awards are now held in more than 145 cities in over 60 countries worldwide.

Nitin Passi of Manchester-based Missguided, Bill Holmes of Crewe-based Radius Payment Solutions and Sir Michael Bibby of Bibby Line Group were amongst the North West winners last year.

EY partner Robert Crooks said: “Entrepreneurs are at the heart of the economy in the North West and the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards celebrate the achievements of these dynamic leaders.

“It is critical that we continue to celebrate entrepreneurial success, and support and nurture the next generation of high growth businesses. Their ability to deliver rapid wealth and job creation to help rebalance the economy will be critical in building a sustainable future for the UK.

“We’re looking for the best entrepreneurial talent in the region to join this year’s programme and celebrate their outstanding business achievements.”

Entries can be registered at eoy.co.uk until March 6. Finalists will be announced in April.
