One week left to enter The Business Masters awards

THERE’S just one week left to enter TheBusinessDesk.com’s North West Business Masters Awards, which acknowledge and celebrate excellence in all areas of commercial life.

Some really strong nominations have already been received from some excellent businesses, but there is still time for entries to be submitted. The final deadline is 5pm, next Friday January 16.

Previous winners of Masters Awards include veteran entrepreneur Fred Done founder of BetFred, Jaguar LandRover’s Halewood factory, leading lawyer Maurice Watkins, and high growth firms including Hiring-Hub and sweet brand Goody Good Stuff.

The award winners will be announced at the Midland Hotel in Manchester at a black tie dinner on March 12 which will be hosted by broadcaster Nina Warhurst.

An enlarged format sees new categories added, including awards for successful performance by listed companies, high growth firms and for businesses running apprenticeship schemes.

Chris Barry, editor of TheBusinessDesk.com in the North West said: “We have seen a steady stream of entries over the last month, and we are expecting more.

“I would urge any business which has been growing, investing, innovating, exporting and supporting their future through apprencticeships to submit an entry.

“The Masters will be a fantastic showcase for this region’s diverse and thriving business community.”

Sponsors include stockbroker Cenkos, Manchester’s Business Growth Hub alongside the Manchester College.
