Colliers International to open Liverpool office

COMMERCIAL property agent Colliers International is opening an office in Liverpool.

The business, which has a large regional presence in Manchester, has taken a three-year lease on a 400 sq ft suite at the India Buildings in Water Street.

The team will be led by director Andy Delaney.

Colliers is working on St Modwen’s Great Homer Street retail-led regeneration scheme north of the city centre, and the £175m Cains Brewery Village redevelopment in the Baltic Triangle area.

North West head Andrew McFarlane said: “Our North West team is already working on some large and complex projects in the city and this new office will allow our teams, who already spend time travelling in and out of Liverpool on a weekly basis, a base from which to support our business growth ambitions in Merseyside.

“Although the move is small in terms of square footage, we see this deal as a significant statement on our intentions to cement our position as a long term partner of the city of Liverpool, and an influential player in the Northern Powerhouse movement. Over time, we expect to grow our presence in Liverpool.”
