CFO Dean Moore to leave N Brown

DEAN Moore, the long-serving finance director of N Brown the Manchester online, catalogue and stores retailer, is leaving to “pursue other interests”.

Moore has been FD/ chief financial officer for 11 years, and was praised for making a “very significant contribution” to the business.

Angela Spindler, chief executive said: “Dean has given excellent and long service to N Brown.  In particular, he has been a great support to me over the last 18 months, providing important continuity through the leadership transition.

“The business change programme is progressing well, our performance is in line with our expectations and now feels like a good time, for all concerned, to make this important change. Dean has made a significant contribution to the past and future success of the business and I would personally like to acknowledge and thank him.”

Moore added: ““I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at N Brown and being part of the company’s evolution.  I would like to thank my team and the board for their support over the last 11 years.  I now look forward to exploring other challenges outside of the business.”

He will be replaced by Craig Lovelace, currently chief financial officer for General Healthcare Group.

Lovelace will join N Brown in the new financial year after completing  his existing contractual obligations. The company said Dean Moore would remain with the business in the short term to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities.
