Riverview expands as revenue soars

WIRRAL-based Riverview Law is to open a Manchester office after enjoying revenue growrth of more than 100% and a raft of new contract wins.

Head of HR Kate Thomsett said the firm sees the city as a key part of its expansion stragety.

“Like Wirral, Manchester is a great catchment area for the skills we’re looking for – solicitors, paralegals, client managers and IT professionals,” she said.

Riverview is currently on the lookout for a suitable location and expects to open in the city before the end of March.

It expects to recruit an additional 30 people across both offices during the expansion.

“Customers are quickly adopting our approach to legal service delivery,” said Thomsett. “They buy in to our culture and our fixed-priced technology and data-led model.

“We’re looking for talented professionals who like spending time with customers and who also know how to have fun and work as part of one team.”

The Manchester opening follows the recent launch of Riverview Law In-House which includes a range of sofware modules to help in-house legal teams in large organisations.

Earlier this month, Riverview, whose shareholders include law firm DLA Piper, also trumpeted a partnership with the University of Liverpool to exploit its Artificial Intelligence expertise.
