Legal recruiter finds home comforts

LEGAL  recruiter consultancy firm BCL Legal has agreed a funding deal to buy the leasehold of its Manchester headquarters.

BCL occupies the second, third and fourth floors of Lancaster Buildings on Deansgate and the deal with Royal Bank of Scotland will enable further expansion across the company.

BCL employs 57 people in Manchester and has other offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Reading.

It moved from the Lexicon Building on Mount Street in Occtober 2014 and the company has since sought plans to lease more space.

“RBS has been instrumental in allowing our relocation, expansion and future growth to prevail through the provision of a funding package, for which we are very grateful.”

Anthony McGreevy, senior relationship manager at RBS added, “This overall deal required high level relationship management and an understanding of what BCL were looking to achieve.

“As a long-term supporter of the company and management team, I understood James’ business aspirations from the outset and was able to complete the deal in a timely manner. I wish the BCL team all the best as they settle into their new surroundings and enjoy the benefits this will bring to their business.”
