Appointments: MSB Solicitors; Bilfinger GVA; CBRE

LIVERPOOL law firm MSB Solicitors has appointed Andrew Pearson as a consultant solicitor in its crime team.

Pearson is a higher court advocate in crime, with specialist knowledge in white collar and serious fraud.
 
His career spans more than 25 years, during which times he has been admitted to the the Defence Counsel and Duty Counsel at the International Criminal Court and appointed to the List of Counsil for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

Pearson is also a member of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office Pro Bono Panel and independent adjudicator to the Legal Aid Agency High Costs Case Appeals Process.

BILFINGER GVA has announced the promotion of new directors in its Manchester office as part of its strategic growth plan in the North West.

Sarah Johnson in Telecoms, Stuart Traynor in Building and Chris Morton in Valuation have all been promoted from associate to director.

The news follows on from the promotion of Chris Cheap to senior director last month.

RICHARD Savage has joined CBRE’s Manchester Specialist Markets team as associate director.

He joins from GVA where he was part of the national healthcare team based out of Manchester.

Savage has extensive experience in the healthcare sector having previously providing valuation and consultancy services  to corporate, third sector and private clients on a national basis.

He has advised on a wide spectrum of care businesses including residential and nursing homes, specialist units, supported housing units and development sites.
