Logistics firm buys new headquarters

TRANSPORT and distribution company Fagan and Walley has taken ownership of Communications House, an 18,658 sq ft facility at Shuttleworth Mead Business Park at Padiham near Burnley.

It will be the head office for the £22.3m turnover Fagan and Whalley Group, which employs nearly 300 people.

The sale of the property on Altham Business Park for an undisclosed sum was negotiated by Nolan Redshaw on behalf of Skipton Building Society.

Paul Nolan of Nolan Redshaw said: “This is an indication of the improvement in market conditions with three different parties interested in purchasing the premises.”

Joint agents were Edwards & Co.
