12-storey office block in Civic Quarter gets green light
PLANS to build a 12-storey office block on the site of Peterloo House in central Manchester have been approved by city planners.
The scheme will involve the demolition of the current seven-storey building on Dickinson Street and George Street, which was built in the late 1960s.
London-based architect Squire & Partners has designed the scheme and Manchester’s The Planning Studio is acting as agent for the applicant, AXA Investment Managers Ltd, which owns the site.
