Begbies Traynor unveils international deals alliance

BEGBIES Traynor, the listed professional services company headquartered in Manchester, has unveiled a new international alliance focused on insolvency, turnaround, investment banking and cross-border deals.

Called BTG Global Advisory, the new venture is offering its services to banks, law firms, private equity and other funds, creditor committees, operating companies and other parties affected by distress. It has a particular focus on North America, Europe, Asia and Australasia.

Its core group of members comprises: Begbies Traynor in the UK; Canada-based Farber Financial Group; GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC (US); Integrated Capital Services (India);  PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH (Germany, Italy and Spain) and Rodgers Reidy (Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore & New Zealand).

The new alliance said a number of other “large advisory practices” in other major jurisdictions would be joining over the coming months.

The services provided by the alliance include insolvency, turnaround advisory and implementation, performance improvement consulting, loan workout, interim management, investment banking, forensic accounting, managed exit services and complex cross-border M&A transactions.
