Business park is filling up

A STRING of new lettings have been secured at Trident Business Park in Birchwood near Warrington.

Regeneration specialist St Modwen has secured the deals which saw print firm United Carlton, scaffolding company Global Platforms and automotive firm ACSpeedtech Ltd all agreeing three-year leases.

Collectively, the three companies have taken 17,500sq ft of space and are expected to bring 60 new jobs to the area.

The lettings follow the recent 10-year lease of a 6,820sq ft office to Communicate Better, which will relocate from Swindon and use the site as its new head office.

Trident Business Park is a 17-acre development providing industrial and office accommodation. The site, which is owned and developed by St Modwen, is the home to Sharp Electronics, GE Energy, Triton Construction and Technomot.

Since 2009, St Modwen has welcomed 13 new tenants to the new build units at the rear of the estate, which was previously unoccupied. There are now only three new build units remaining at the site.

North West regional director at St Modwen Steven Knowles said: “Trident Business Park is a key site in our existing North West Portfolio, offering quality office and industrial space.

“These recent deals demonstrate our flexible and accommodating approach to new lettings, as well as the improving market conditions in the region.”
