Birchwood to build new warehouse

A NEW 53,000sq ft speculative development has been launched at Birchwood, Warrington in response to high demand among businesses in the North West.

The 1.189 million sq ft park is home to more than 165 companies ad is one the region’s prime destinations for businesses looking for office and industrial space.

Manager of Birchwood, Patrizia, has announced that development has now started on site at 711-713 Cavendish Avenue and is due to complete in December.

Parizia says, once complete the site will provide three new large self-contained, high quality warehouses with a high level of office space.

The units are aimed at businesses looking for good quality, secure and flexible warehouse space, whilst providing offices situated in the heart of a community-centred business park rather than a basic industrial estate.

Birchwood Park managing director Jonathan Walsh said: “Cavendish Place will be addressing the strong demand we’ve received from SMEs for bespoke space in the North West and as the project moves forward we are seeing interest for a variety of uses including labs and production units.

“It is through real estate investment of this kind that we can continue to support Warrington as a thriving business destination driving recruitment and productivity over the coming years.

“We’ve been working extremely hard to ensure that the development creates the right impression for businesses and their clients, whilst at the same time providing the best environment to attract and retain the best possible staff.

“The development is following in the footsteps of the successful Cavendish Place and we are looking forward to delivering impeccable warehouse and office space that our occupiers won’t find anywhere else in the area.”

Patrizia UK managing director James Muir said: “Supporting Birchwood Park is at the heart of our strategy to invest in high-growth locations across the UK.

“The North West is particularly benefiting from investment that drives growth in not just its major cities, but other up and coming local economies in the region, creating a strong demand for high quality mixed-use spaces. We can’t wait to see the finished development and to continue our work with Birchwood Park strengthening our ever-growing portfolio.”
