Arndale House

THE last remaining office space at Arndale House in Manchester has been taken.

M&G Real Estate and intu have confirmed CFS Management Services and CIS General Insurance, both wholly owned subsidiaries of The Co-operative Group, have signed deals.

The Co-operative Group has secured 35,000sq ft, fully occupying the eighth, ninth and 19th floors.

Arndale House is a 23-storey Grade A office development built as part of Manchester Arndale.

M&G Real Estate director asset management Elise Buchanan said: “Arndale House is now fully let: this is a positive sign that Manchester’s offices sector is going from strength to strength and we continue to liaise with occupiers – current and prospective – as part of our ongoing active asset management approach.

“The Co-operative Group and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer lettings for Arndale House reinforce Manchester’s reputation as the UK’s second city. With access to one of the UK’s most diverse retail offers, as well as continually improving food and beverage hubs, Arndale House provides a unique working environment and a range of facilities that clearly set it apart.”

TSG Property Consultants is the retained agents for M&G Real Estate and intu on Arndale House. Knight Frank acted on behalf of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and The Co-operative Group represented itself.
