ISG wins £59m London office scheme

SALFORD-based fitout company ISG has secured a £59m project to carry out an office refurbishment, opposite the criminal courts in London’s Old Bailey, for Blackstone.

The scheme adds to ISG’s portfolio of projects with the global asset manager, which includes the Adelphi Building and One American Square.

Starting in November 2015, 20 Old Bailey will be given a new façade, extended by two additional floors and comprehensively upgraded, with extensive structural alterations and internal remodelling, to provide around 240,000 sq ft of high-specification office accommodation.

David Lawther, ISG chief executive, said: “Global demand for prime office space in London’s most desirable business locations continues to drive this buoyant market.  We are pleased to be able to continue supporting our core customers with their refurbishment programs.”
