Sterling’s mansion up for grabs for £1.5m

ENGLAND and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has put his former Southport home up for sale for £1.5m.

The 20-year-old, who moved from Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium club in a £49m deal in the summer, told City’s official website: “It’s a good feeling and this is [a] really happy time for me and my family.”

The mansion in the Birkdale area of the town includes an indoor swimming pool, a half basketball court, a Michael Jackson-themed bar, a home cinema and a barber salon.

Sterling’s moved to City followed several successful seasons at Liverpool and he has started at his new club in blistering form as the most expensive  English Premier League player in history.
