Profits and revenue soar at Smith & Williamson

ACCOUNTANCY, investment management and tax group Smith & Williamson is reporting an 8% increase in group operating income to £215.1m (2014: £199.1m) with adjusted operating profit also rising 14% to £41.1m (2014: £36m).

The company which has an office in Manchester also enjoyed a 8.7% increase in funds under management and advice to £16.3bn (2014: £15bn).

All this has contributed to a 14.8% increase in adjusted earnings per share, to 61.1p (2014: 53.2p).
