Record turnover and profits for Knight Frank

COMMERCIAL property specialist Knight Frank has reported a record £162m profit and £443m turnover for the financial year ending March 31.

The firm, which has an office in Manchester employing 35 people, has managed several high-profile deals in the North West which have contributed to its success, including the sale of 3 Hardman Square in Spinningfields for £92m and The Anchorage in Salford Quays for £35m.

David Porter, head of Knight Frank’s Manchester office said: “As reflected by these positive results, the last financial year was particularly strong for our Manchester office, with all of our practice areas experiencing growth, in particular our offices and investment teams in line with a surge in occupier demand in the city centre and continued interest from institutional investors.”

Group partner and senior partner Alistair Elliott said: “We have achieved a 19% increase in profit, whilst continuing to invest significantly in recruitment and expanding our global platform.

“We continue to grow our network, recruiting the best people in key markets across the world. We believe it is this approach, as well as our unique partnership model that allows us to maintain a strong unified culture, the benefits of which our clients experience across our network.

“Our priority for the year ahead is to continue to develop our key services in the principal cities of the world.”
