Howzat? Rihanna to dazzle at Lancashire

SINGING sensation Rihanna is to perform at Lancashire Cricket Club’s Emirates Old Trafford ground in the summer.

The diva who has sold 54 million albums and 210 million digital tracks world wide has announced she will play the Manchester venue on June 29 as part of her The Anti World Tour.

The show by the eight Grammy Award-winning singer follows this year’s sell-out concert by the Foo Fighters which drew 55,000 fans. Tickets will go on sale from December 3.

Daniel Gidney, chief executive of LCCC, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Rihanna to Emirates Old Trafford.  To have another world class musical act performing at our venue underlines our position as major player in attracting the very best artists to Manchester.”
