Plans submitted for 405 Salford apartments

A PLANNING application has been submitted for a private rented sector housing development of 405 apartments in Salford.

Called The Crescent, the scheme, at the site of the former Black Horse Hotel, has been put forward by Manchester-based Euan Kellie Property Solutions on behalf of Property (Done) Ltd, a business backed by veteran investor Fred Done.

Designed by 5plus Architects the Crescent is the sister scheme to the Trinity PRS development which was granted planning permission in March.

The Crescent comprises 153 one bedroom and 248 two bedroom apartments will be spread over three buildings comprising five, 16 and 21 storeys, there will also be four townhouses.  In addition there will be car parking, landscaping and 8,890 sq ft of commercial space.
