Popular Italian restaurant closed for major refurb

THE long-anticipated extension to the flagship Piccolino restaurant in Manchester city centre is now underway, parent company Individual Restaurants has said.

The restaurant on Clarence Street - a Manchester institution for the last 13 years - closed on Monday for a £1.3m refit, and will return in early April nearly double its original size.
