Debt recovery firm goes into administration

ASSET valuation and debt recovery specialist Winterhill Largo and its affiliated companies has gone into administration.

Lindsay Cooper, Chris Ratten and Graham Bushby of RSM Restructuring Advisory has been appointed joint administrators  of the Blackburn, Lancashire-headquartered firm.

The appointment covers Winterhill Largo, Largo Collections, Winterhill Property, Winterhill Receiverables and ABL Services, and Winterhill Asset.

Winterhill Largo was launched in February 2010 as a result of the Winterhill and Largo businesses merging. The company, which provides professional services to banks, insolvency practitioners, asset based lenders and other public and private funding organisations employs around 25 staff across the country including in its offices in Leeds, Manchester and London.

RSM partner Cooper said: “We are currently working to find purchasers for the various business streams in order to maximize returns to creditors.”
