Spectrum gives green light to mill deal

RECRUITMENT, training and development specialist Spectrum is the latest tenant to sign up for Lowry Mill in Swinton, Greater Manchester.

Acting on behalf of Vanguard Holdings, Manchester office agency Canning O’Neill has agreed a deal whith Spectrum which will take 5,000sq ft on a five-year lease, joining other tenants Leisurewear International, Italik, and Regus amongst its number.

The former Victorian mill was fully restored in 2012 to create 80,000sq ft high quality office accommodation in suites ranging from 1,000sq ft.

Neil Farrow, director at Spectrum, said: “Lowry Mill really offers everything you would want from an office, from on site amenities to flexible floor space to help us support our continued growth.”

John Nash, associate director at Canning O’Neill, joint agents for the scheme with Knight Frank, said: “Spectrum is the latest a long line of successful businesses that have chosen to make Lowry Mill their home. The scheme really sells itself and that, coupled with the landlord’s ‘can-do’ attitude, has meant that deals are being done.”

Lowry Mill’s property manager, Mike Lamplough, said: “Lowry Mill is fast becoming a hub for thriving organisations, suites have been designed and fitted-out on a bespoke basis underlining the scheme’s strong offer. As a result of the current demand we have added an additional deck to the car park to maintain our excellent car parking ratio of 1:300 sq ft. and we have other enhancements in the pipeline.”
