Traffic update: All lanes on M60 and M62 reopened

A multi vehicle collision within J19 of the M62, east bound near Heywood has been reported.

All lanes are now open with traffic moving freely and congestion starting to ease.

Earlier: There are long delays clockwise on the M60, following a collision.

The Highways Agency has advised the delays are between J17 (near Prestwich) and J12 (M602) in Greater Manchester, however all lanes are now open.

Update 1pm: all congestion issues resolved.
