Logistics North success paves way for city office

PROPERTY regeneration company Harworth Estates has opened an office in Manchester city centre following the success of Logistics North site in Bolton and as part of growing its business interests in the North West.

The Yorkshire company has taken space on the 10th floor of Chancery Place on Brown Street at the heart of Manchester’s commercial district.

Harworth has been responsible for the rapid development of Logistics North, the region’s largest live commercial development spanning a total of 800 acres in Bolton and is keen to add to its North West brownfield portfolio in the short-term.

Phil Wilson, managing director of Capital Growth at Harworth Estates, said: “Opening our office at Chancery Place is a natural next step for the business as we look to increase our North West portfolio.

“The success of Logistics North demonstrates our ability to bring forward high-quality development in the region and having a physical presence here directly supports our intention to both purchase new sites to refill our strategic landbank and to encourage further institutional investment in the remaining 2.5m sq ft of consented commercial space remaining at Logistics North.”
