Prism focuses on new base

MANAGED service provider Prism Solutions has relocated to a dedicated facility in Congleton, Cheshire.

The company has moved from  5 to 20 John Bradshaw Court, on the business park at Alexandria Way, to larger premises at on the same park thanks to a key investment from Royal Bank of Scotland towards the seven figure move.

Gary Smith and Richard Alexander founded the award-winning business in 2001. Prism supports the SME market by providing IT support through their dedicated help desk and on site technicians with the addition of cloud and managed services, including innovative leasing options and solution design.

The new premises has break out and collaboration space, a training suite and even a bistro, which will improve the client experience for Prism’s national client base by allowing them to build on their established team.

An extensive refurbishment provides a fresh and modern environment accommodating the company’s team of 40 employees with plans to recruit more roles in the short-term.

The company will be investing in a wellbeing programme for team members and launching training courses. Wellbeing is firmly part of Prism’s plan to retain people, not just clients, and the new enlarged premises will allow the management team to focus on people further than ever before; a factor Prism believe is critical to their success.

As testament to their investing in people ethos, Prism has been associated with many regional and national award ceremonies, most recently being selected as a finalist at the East Cheshire Chamber Business Awards for their contribution to Community, winning the Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2015 at the Cheshire Business Awards as well as gaining repeated success with the British Chamber of Commerce for their contribution to excellent customer service in 2009 and 2012.

Smith said: “Richard and I are both looking forward to enjoying the larger location which will give us the space Prism needs to innovate, grow and become one of the leading lights in the managed space.”

Alexander added: “We pride ourselves on our concept of being a national provider, servicing our demands from our new head office here in Congleton. This service offering is providing the flexibility to attract new clients across the UK that are looking to utilise our specialised services.”

Anthony McGreevy, senior relationship manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “Prism Solutions has received our support during the last 14 years and we are pleased we can help a long-term customer expand. We wish them well as they settle into their newly acquired surroundings and enjoy the benefits this will present.”
