Bricktastic on way back to city

AFTER a successful 2015, Bricktastic is returning to Manchester Central for two days of LEGO filled fun next weekend (July 2 and 3).

The largest LEGO event held in northern England, it will bring together more than sixty exhibitors ready to amaze and inspire with their creations.

Exhibitors will be on hand all weekend to answer questions about how they take the much loved plastic bricks and produce such spectacular models. Exhibitors will include actual LEGO set designers so visitors can learn first-hand what it takes to get a model onto a store shelf.

The UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional Company will be at the show.

Based in Hampshire, Bright Bricks are world renowned for their often huge LEGO models including the recent Christmas Train that was on display in Covent Garden. The show will feature a selection of their work including some top secret things that are still being designed!

Play is an important part of Bricktastic and there will be thousands of bricks for children and adults to get busy with. A huge mosaic made of over 120,000 bricks, brick pits and a Minecraft themed building area will all be there as a break from the inspirational models.

The latest LEGO sets, classics from the past, individual parts, custom minifigures and show merchandise will be on sale. Even LEGO that can be customised at the show is available.

The entire event is in support the children’s charity Fairy Bricks which donates LEGO to children in hospital. In 2015 it visited Manchester Children’s Hospital with more than £2,000 worth of sets and has recently completed its 100th hospital donation in Nottingham. Children throughout the UK will benefit as all profit from the show will be used to fund more LEGO donations.
