Trade centre gets £6.2m of funding from bank

HATTERSLEY Retail and Trade Centre in Ormskirk, Lancashire, has been backed by £6.2m of funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland.

The 75,000sq ft facility, owned by the Mackie family, is made up of eight units.
Current retailers include Home Bargains, Netto, Halfords, Howdens, Magnet, Jewsons, Plumbase and Tile Giant.

RBS’s real estate finance team based in Leeds provided the funding to support the centre’s continued development.

Adam Mackie, who is also founder and owner of YESSS Electrical, said: “Hattersley Retail and Trade Centre is an exciting retail centre in the heart of south Lancashire that provides shoppers with a diverse range of shopping options.

“We chose to work with The Royal Bank of Scotland on this project as the bank understands our business and how we want to develop our property business for the future.”

YESSS Electrical is a trade distributor of electrical products with more than 470 branches in the UK and Europe.
