Software firm strikes deal with energy procurement specialist

MANCHESTER-based UD Group, the software provider for the energy and utilities sector, has secured a new deal with Zenergi, the customer service business specialising in energy procurement, invoice validation and contract management.

Zenergi will benefit from UD Group’s latest cloud-based solution, UD crm, the energy quoting and contracting solution designed for business-to-business customers.

With UD crm, users can follow the customer sales journey with greater visibility, automate and track all customer communications, generate automated quotes and supply contracts.

Zenergi will join a number of brokerage businesses already utilising UD Group’s software to improve their client management.

Graham Cooke, managing director at Zenergi, said: “At Zenergi, we pride ourselves on making a positive difference to the way businesses and education users procure and manage their utilities, and as such we are always looking for new ways to improve the client experience.

“UD Group’s cloud computing software offers the simplicity and ease of integration that we require, and we are looking forward to working with UD Group going forward.”

UD Group’s transformational software is designed to allow energy suppliers, brokers and asset managers to improve performance and increase their earnings growth, via intuitive and user-friendly data energy management systems.

UD Group MD Steve Armitage said: “Having just launched UD crm, we are already seeing a great demand for the solution with energy brokers, suppliers and retailers alike.

“Increasingly, management of the entire client journey is something that energy businesses are looking for to ensure a seamless customer experience, and we are extremely pleased to be able to offer solutions that can deliver this.”
