IT provider APH makes acquisition

APH Computers, a provider of IT solutions to the SME market, has acquired Sussex firm Complete Business Systems (CBS) for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in South Manchester in 1986, APH specialises in the implementation of SAP Business One –  software designed to automate core business processes for companies that have outgrown basic accounting tools.

CBS, based in Horsham, is also a SAP Business One partner with a 25-year history in the IT industry and an emphasis on extensive technical know-how.

Altogether, the acquisition creates a team of 25 people – including ten SAP Business One consultants – across two offices, with a customer base that includes Arriva Traincare, Kiril Mischeff and British Motor Heritage.

APH director Charlie Heywood said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our team with the acquisition of CBS, who share our vision for helping SMEs grow and succeed through world-class ERP software and the right implementation methodology.

“The acquisition represents an exciting new chapter in our story as a family business, and we’re looking forward to bringing our unique solution to more companies in the South East and across the UK.”
