Owners aiming for sweet taste of success at Sugar Hut

MANCHESTER real estate solicitor Paul Davies bought premises for the expansion of the celebrity favoured Sugar Hut into the North West.

Known from the reality TV series The Only Way is Essex, the bar and restaurant in Liverpool will be the second in the country, to be followed by further expansion in Newcastle and Cardiff Bay.

The newly acquired 12,00sq ft premises  on Victoria Street will receive a £1.5m refit and the venue will span over three floors. Sugar Hut Liverpool will open its doors in September.

The Sugar Hut Group co-owner Terry Pullen said: “Liverpool is a vibrant city and we will deliver a mix of quality food served in a luxury environment with classic cocktails, aspirational entertainment and excellent music.”

Davies, who joined Stephensons Solicitors LLP in May this year, said: “It is not every day you get to work on such a high profile acquisition. The North West is an attractive business proposition to a number of high profile brands and we expect to see more of this type of activity.”

Stephensons is Manchester-based law firm with 10 offices and over 460 staff across the country.
