Plans for high-class Cheshire development revealed

MANCHESTER-based Real Estate Investment Partnerships has revealed design plans for its premium development, Highbank at Green Walk in Bowdon, Cheshire.

Originally built in 1861, the existing property is within a predominately Victorian residential setting in Bowdon’s conservation area.

The building was most recently used as consultation rooms for The Transform Group.

The branding has been unveiled following what the developer says is increasing interest from potential buyers and local residents.

Real Estate Investment Partnerships’ says it demonstrates a commitment to protecting the building’s heritage, while still offering the level of contemporary living craved by the modern homeowner.

This has been achieved through the expert restoration of period features, such as high ceilings and sash windows, combined with fashionable open-plan living spaces, bespoke finishes and high-quality appliances.

Stephen Slater, chief executive officer at Real Estate Investment Partnerships, said: “Highbank at Green Walk is a very special project.

Situated within one of the country’s most prestigious postcodes, it was vital that the design paid tribute to its location.”

The £9m, 15,700sq ft scheme, which has been designed by Ollier Smurthwaite, will comprise 12 properties in total, including six apartments, a 2,600sq ft penthouse, two mews houses, two semi-detached townhouses and a detached coach house. The development is due for completion in June 2017.

Slater said: “We’re passionate about ensuring the development complements the local area and believe that its design achieves this whilst offering the level of quality desired by the discerning buyer. I’m confident that this will generate even further interest in the scheme.”

Highbank at Green Walk is one of several schemes that the luxury developer is launching across Cheshire, Manchester and London, including Alexandra House, which is an £18m residential development on Ashley Road in Altrincham.
