Legal eagles get new all-day dining and drinking venue

A NEW all-day dining and drinking destination has opened up in Liverpool city centre’s commercial district.

Castle St Townhouse has been launched by owner and director Jason McNeill, who says the outlet offers “elegant space for legal eagles and socialites alike to while away the morning, noon and night”.

By combining the “three Bs” – breakfast, brunch and bar – the new venue aims to blur the lines between social meetings and cocktail nights by rotating its core image and atmosphere throughout the day.

McNeill said: “It is a great honour to open our doors on the increasingly popular Castle Street, and join a host of fantastic names within the hospitality industry.

“With Liverpool’s landscape ever changing, we wanted to provide an offering that was as unique as the city itself.

“To capture the essence of the brand’s mirror inspiration, the venue transforms throughout the day to reflect people’s changing faces and personalities to allow them to truly show their three sides as they wake, work and play.”
The culinary offering has been devised by head chef Martin Simm.

McNeill added: “His offering is made up of a range of quintessentially British flavours paired with contemporary ingredients to create novel future classics and is inspired by the ritual of taking brunch at any time.

“By day we provide a gloriously relaxed meeting point for businesses to connect while grabbing a light bite to eat and drink, whereas come evening the lighting and music rotates and so does our core focus.

“In order to pay homage to New York’s pristine socialite culture, the venue adds a new dimension to Liverpool’s nightlife by combining a splendid interior with an immaculate service and genuine approach.

“Regardless of the time of day, we aim to create an unrivalled sunrise to sundown experience that goes on to make a lasting impression.”
