Midpoint 18 becomes MA6NITUDE

MIDPOINT 18, one of the North West’s largest business and distribution parks, has been relaunched as ‘MA6NITUDE’, as part of a new strategic partnership between Pochin’s, the North West construction and property specialist, and international property developer db symmetry.
 
Currently undergoing a progressive three-phase development, MA6NITUDE’s prime location – minutes from the M6 in Middlewich – connects businesses operating in the North West with over 450-acres of high quality mixed-use space.

AT launch event in Manchester, the new partnership outlined its plans for the joint venture, including the planning application for a new 160,000sq ft speculative build set for completion in Autumn 2017.

Pochin’s chief executive Jim Nicholson said: “MA6NITUDE has long been held as our flagship development site, and the quality of its existing tenants highlights the role it plays in the Northern Powerhouse and UK logistics network.

“The additional knowledge and resources of db symmetry will only grow the site’s popularity at a crucial time when the North West is accelerating infrastructure development and the region’s standing as a key player in the national and international picture.”

Having delivered more thn 1.5 million sq ft of mixed-use employment space, and more than 2,000 new jobs to date, Pochin’s sought out db symmetry’s extensive experience of developing key industrial parks across the UK and Europe to further the national standing of MA6NITUDE.

The new joint venture will link Pochin’s and db symmetry with a view to adding to the already  significant client portfolio at MA6NITUDE, which includes Wincanton, B&M Bargains, Optima Power, Tesco, Scottish Power, and Kuehne and Nagel.

Nicholson continued: “With its exceptional links to national transport infrastructure, MA6NITUDE has and will continue to play an integral part in Cheshire’s exciting future. Cheshire already boasts the strongest economy in the Northern Powerhouse and its ambitious development partnerships such as this that will further attract top class businesses to the region.”
