First look: Mazars moves into One St Peters Square

AS accountancy firm Mazars’ staff move into their new home at 1 St Peters Square, we are giving you a first sneaky peak inside.

The 12,000 sq ft space, which has been taken on a 10-year lease, has a distinct Manchester theme – with its meeting rooms named after famous Manchester innovators, including Bridgewater, Kilburnn Dalton and Pankhurst – down to details such as the desk chairs having a honeycomb pattern to represent the Manchester bee.

The fit-out, completed by Redbridge in around six months, cost £1m.

It has been designed to allow space for growth beyond the company’s current headcount of 80 with around 60% of the working space given up to hot desking, and an open plan approach for all staff.

Features include ‘hot boxes’ for hotdesking staff to put their belongings into lockers, meeting pods and large open meeting areas.
