People on the move: Inprova Energy; Sweco; TIMco; Monitor; Cabfind

WARRINGTON-based energy consultancy firm Inprova Energy has appointed Leanne James as its new director of account management.

James, former head of customer relations at Utilyx, established a new product management division at the company.

Her career in energy services spans 12 years, including senior roles at Accenture company Energy Quote and John Hall Associates.

Michael Dent, managing director of Inprova Energy, said: “Leanne has vast experience in the energy services industry, where her skills are widely respected.

“She will make an invaluable contribution to setting and delivering Inprova’s ambitious growth strategy, while ensuring that customer service excellence is at the heart of our expanding business.”

EUROPEAN engineering and environment consultancy firm, Sweco, has appointed four new team members to its Manchester assets management division.

Joining the team are technical director Doug Marsh and technical managers Neil Walker, Muthena Alessa and Robert Lakeley.

Mark Kaney, director of asset management at Sweco, commented: “These are strategic appointments in that they will allow us to offer an enhanced service to existing clients, but also to expand our reach into new markets and share expertise across the asset management division.”

Doug Marsh and Neil Walker have previously worked in the water sector, with Marsh heading the asset management team for Mid Water Kent and Walker at United Utilities.

Muthena Alessa previously led Heathrow Asset Management Centre of Excellence and has held positions at IBM, Adivo and AECOM.

Lakely, who specialises in information management, has previously worked with firms such as Atkins and Jacobs.

TOOLS and DIY accessory distributor TIMco, based in Nantwich, Cheshire, has employed two new specialists to their IT team.

Tom Fox and Matt Foody will join the firm to help implement new technological and logistics systems at its head office.

Fox, who has spent 8 years working on several IT projects as an IT technical specialist, will take responsibility for the infrastructure, networking, IT resilience and reporting.

New IT system developer Foody arrives from a £100m turnover company, where he has worked for the past three and a half years.

MERSEYSIDE-based business travel firm Cabfind has appointed a new managing director from within its own team.

Lee Wasnidge joined the booking service earlier this year as strategy director, after spending more than seven years at Northern Rail.

Cabfind provides a country-wide network of private hire and executive vehicles for SMEs, travel management companies and corporate businesses.

Wasnidge said: “”The transport sector is going through a massive period of change thanks to technology-driven applications which offer exceptional opportunities to broaden our appeal and application.

CREATIVE agency Monitor has appointed Daniel Martin Bradley as director of its Manchester-based team.

Dan has worked at the company for five years, joining as junior account executive before being promoted to account director.

During this time, he implemented additional digital services for the firm, who develop websites and brand identities.
