Traffic update: Delays remain after collision on M62

THE M62 Eastbound in Greater Manchester between J21 (Milnrow) and J22 (Denshaw) has had all lanes reopened, following an earlier collision.

Long residual delays remain on the approach eastbound between J18 (M60) and J22 (Denshaw).

Meanwhile, the M58 remains closed eastbound between J3 and J4 due to a serious incident, as recovery operations continue.

Traffic is advised to follow the solid square diversion symbol:

Exit the M58 at junction 3.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A570 northbound and continue onwards to the next roundabout.
Take the third exit onto the B5312 and continue until you reach the roundabout with the A5068.
Take the third exit for the A5068 and continue southbound for half a mile until the next roundabout, and then take the first exit to rejoin the M58 at junction 4.

Morning delays on the M6 northbound between J18 – J20 have cleared and all lanes have reopened.
