FLOORING firm James Halstead has once again shrugged off the recession to reveal another record hike in sales and profits.

It was also good news for the Radcliffe-based firm’s shareholders who will get a bumper 16% rise in dividend payments.

In the six months to December 31, pre-tax profit rose 17.5% to £15.4m, while turnover was up more than 10% to a £87.6m.
