Regional Business Information for the North West

A well known figure in the local market, Simon was appointed Ernst & Young's North West senior partner in February 2008.

He has years of experience as a restructuring partner in the North West, working on accelerated disposals, acquisitions, re-financing, debt solutions and business restructurings - including, London Scottish Bank, TJ Hughes and Focus DIY.

Based in Manchester, Simon has strong links with corporates as well as the local private equity, banking and legal communities.

He was appointed a Non Executive Chairman of ‘not for profit' organisation Business Finance Solutions (BFS), which helps fill a gap in the market for SMEs that are finding it difficult to access traditional sources of finance in the region.
