Broderick’s announce pioneering Mars mission for UK’s first vending sector loyalty app

Broderick’s, the leading national vending and refreshments company (www.brodericks.co.uk), has unveiled a stellar partnership with confectionary giant Mars to pioneer the UK vending sector’s first loyalty app with students and staff at universities across the country.

The year-long collaboration sees Broderick’s partnering with Mars on its ground-breaking loyalty and rewards app, developed in conjunction with Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School.

The app will offer rewards and promotions across the Mars product offering, available in Broderick’s high tech smart vending machines at participating universities.   Video will play a key role:  Galaxy’s The Case video has already been played on Broderick’s vending machine screens over 400,000 times.

Integral to new product development, Broderick’s and Mars have joined forces to promote emerging lines such as the Mars protein bar range, as well as established favourites such as M&M grab bags.   As part of the deal, Mars will receive real-time intelligence about sales and customer buying habits.  Customers will also be given the chance to vote for their favourite products to be given a spot in Broderick’s vending machines.

In an exclusive partnership, a glittering selection of prizes including a golden iPad and also a trip to the Big Apple, will be offered courtesy of MARS & Broderick’s – including vouchers to spend at the iconic M&Ms store.

Targeted at Millennials – the new generation of vending customers – the app will engage with students, giving them a revolutionary introduction to vending.  Encouraging engagement, it will share notifications of new MARS product launches introduced at Broderick’s vending machines, in return for loyalty rewards, competition prizes and freebies too!
