Forever Agency partners with National Young People’s Charity, Onside Youth Zones.

National Young People’s Charity Onside Youth Zones, has chosen Manchester Brand Agency, Forever, as their brand partner across the Manchester Region.

Forever will support the brand and rollout for its next project in East Manchester, which has already had a £6,000,000 donation by Manchester-born Billionaire Fred Done.

The East Manchester Youth Zone will be the second OnSide Youth Zone in the city, providing a safe and inspiring place for young Mancunians to spend their leisure time, meet new people and develop new skills.

Set to open in 2020, the youth zone will provide thousands of young people from the local area with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

It is to be built on the former Gorton baths site at the corner of Hyde Road and Queensland Road with construction due to start in Spring 2019.

It will include an indoor climbing wall, 3G kick pitch, fully equipped gym, four court sports hall, dance and drama studio, training kitchen, arts and crafts studio and much more – all available to young people for just 50p per visit.

Tom Booth, Forever’s Head of Agency said :

“This isn’t about the agency’s CSR strategy or enlightened self-interests, it’s to do with my personal belief of giving people the opportunity to succeed. Without facilitating opportunity we can’t expect young adults to find and pursue their talents. When I toured Chorley’s Onside Youth Zone I was blown away with the facility and the people, it was an instant decision for us to support East Manchester with our expertise in place marketing and leisure. I am extremely proud to offer Forever’s offerings and support”

Working alongside the business community and local organisations, the Youth Zone will also support young people into education, employment or training through employability and enterprise workshops. East Manchester Youth Zone will the latest for national charity OnSide Youth Zones, which has already created a network of ten Youth Zones across the country since it was established in 2008.

Joanne Whittaker, Chair of East Manchester Youth Zone said:

“Manchester is bursting with bright and talented young people who need somewhere safe and inspiring to go and East Manchester Youth Zone will provide just that. It will be an energetic, creative and social space for young people to express themselves, develop their skills, nurture their talents and have fun in their leisure time. If you are interested in supporting young people through this new and exciting charity then please get in touch.”
