Challinors has one of the West Midlands' largest Clinical Negligence teams, led by partner and clinical negligence specialist Richard Bannister. This team continues to be recognised as one of the strongest in the region, with two of its lawyers appointed to clinical negligence panels.

Challinors specialist and niche Fraud & Asset Recovery is today considered a leading specialist team in the Midlands, but also takes instructions from London and across the UK. Its dedicated Business and Serious Crime department has been ranked Number 1 in the Midlands in consecutive years in the Chambers Directory. Led by Partner Ghulam Sohail, the team represents both private and publically funded clients in matters investigated/prosecuted by CPS, HMRC, SOCA, SFO and the Counter Terrorism Unit.

The firm is appointed to the Treasury Solicitor's Department Panel based on its Dispute Resolution Team's ability to deliver litigation services to the Treasury Solicitor's Department and other central government bodies.

Initiatives created to enhance the firm's overall client service and support, include the Business Services Unit (BSU) that draws together experts from across the firm, to provide support for business and corporate clients. The BSU has pioneered a new way of working with Challinors' clients, with the creation of dedicated client relationship managers, who remain closely allied to individual clients.

The firm recently launched a specialised service for the Asian community, led by Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi speaking solicitors operating in its Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and Halesowen offices. The team provides high quality legal expertise to meet the specific requirements of the local Asian community, whether a business or private matter.

Challinors is soon to launch a loyalty programme for individuals/private clients and employees of the firm's corporate clients. Known as iValue, the initiative will prove a comprehensive range of legal services, such as will-writing, property conveyancing, solving matrimonial disputes and personal injury claims, all at highly competitive fees.
