Craig Errington joined Wesleyan in 1991 as a Financial Consultant. He received several promotions through the ranks of the salesforce and in 2002 was promoted to the Board as Group Sales Director.

In April 2005 he was appointed Chief Executive. He is also a Director of the Association of Financial Mutuals (AFM) and the Aston Reinvestment Trust, as well as regional Chair and a national Board member of the National Skills Academy Financial Services.

In recent years, Craig has steered Wesleyan Assurance Society through an extensive business transformation programme involving front and back office initiatives, designed to create a new customer experience. This has led to significant business growth despite taking place during a difficult time for the financial services industry.

In March 2011, Craig was named IoD Director of the Year (Large Company) beating fellow directors from FTSE and other large listed companies, from across the UK.
