Birmingham City Council’s director of economy Waheed Nazir is the keynote speaker at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Property lunch next month.

Waheed is part of the Council’s senior leadership team and is responsible for driving forward economic growth. He has a crucial role, as his remit includes planning, regeneration, economic development, housing and education infrastructure.

He will be speaking about the Big City Plan, providing an update on the progress to date and the planned future developments.

Waheed will also identify what businesses can do to help realise the aspiration and take advantage of the opportunities that the Big City Plan will create for them.

The two-course networking lunch at Siamais, Brindleyplace – which opened its doors in spring – will bring together property professionals and business figures from across the region.

There will be an opportunity to network before and after the lunch.
