NatWest and RBS are the only banks offering a combination of a committed overdraft and a price promise to their 1.1m small business customers. As a result of this, 9 out of 10 small business customers have had their overdraft facilities renewed at the same or lower margin.

In addition to the committed overdraft and price promise the Bank has launched a series of initiatives in support of UK businesses, including an SME Customer Charter, a customer support helpline, and a pledge to make £1 billion of new loans available on competitive and flexible terms to UK manufacturing businesses.
