Serviced offices firm claims record occupancy

A BIRMINGHAM-based provider of serviced offices says it has reached record levels of occupancy in the first six weeks of the year.

The owners of The Corporate Pod, based in St Paul’s Square, said occupancy levels had almost reached capacity – and enquiries were holding steady.

Anne Corstorphine, managing director, said: “We have worked very hard over the years to differentiate the offering of our services from that of others,” said Mrs Corstorphine.

“The sector generally has struggled, so to reach these levels means we’re operating at the highest capacity we ever have.  What we do differently, however, as an independent company, is to offer the flexibility that small businesses need.

“Often clients moving into our offices have an urgent need to expand in a short period of time.”

Most recently loss adjustor Crawfords, the world’s largest independent provider of claims solutions,  needed additional space to handle increasing workload due to the bad weather.

“We were able to act very quickly to help the clients run their business in the smoothest possible way,” said Ms Corstorphine.
