It’s nez rouge for Alternative MIPIM

Alternative MIPIM

Movers and shakers in the Midlands property sector with a nose for fine French wine raised hundreds of pounds for charity at an annual networking event in Birmingham.

More than 100 property professionals attended this year’s Alternative MIPIM, and wore red noses in support of Comic Relief.

They raised £750 through the sale of 100 of the noses.

Alternative MIPIM gives those who don’t wish to attend MIPIM – the annual real estate exhibition in Cannes – the chance to make contacts and carry out business closer to home.

It was organised by Barques managing director Jilly Cosgrove, Eddie Morse, of EMC Consultancy and Mike Hargreaves and Stuart Franks, of Coltham Developments.

Ms Cosgrove said: “This year’s event was another great success, and was thoroughly well attended. Everyone had a great time, which was reflected in the generous donations that were made in support of Red Nose Day.

“We are delighted with the amount that was raised, and to be able to help such a wonderful cause.”

The event, which featured a French-theme lunch, was staged at Anderson’s Bar and Grill, in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Alternative MIPIM is now in its ninth year, and has continued to grow in stature year-by-year.
